Central and South America have always held a special place in our hearts, so it was not a difficult ‘yes’ when the Lord called us here. While we were in El Salvador the summer of 2024, the Lord placed the same assignment on Paul and my hearts at the same time while talking with two different people. We were to go and learn the Spanish language, live among the people, learn their culture, and let the Lord fill our hearts with a deep love for the Guatemalans.
Before the sun was up on the morning of January 1, 2025, the seven of us headed to the airport with only 18 pieces of luggage this time!
